AABS Teaching Master Class 2014

Date: 2014-06-29 - 2014-07-03

The “Design Thinking and Innovation” (DTI) course is designed to give students a framework for understanding the innovation process and a series of tools for thinking creatively. Importantly, the course is built around the assumption that innovative problem solving, design thinking, and creativity can be learned through repeated practice. The DTI curriculum is highly interactive and activity-based to give students the opportunity to practice and develop these skills. This workshop is designed to prepare you to teach the “Design Thinking and Innovation” course at your home institution, using materials developed by Professor Datar and adapted to the African context. Professor Datar will provide you with the materials you will need to offer on the course. This will be a highly interactive—and fun—workshop. You will leave very comfortable with the course content and confident in your abilities to facilitate the course for your own students. The 1st AABS Teaching Master Class will be hosted by University of Cape Town, Graduate School of Business, South Africa from the 29th June to 3rd July 2014.
Location:University of Cape Town, Graduate School of Business, South Africa
